The World of Wheels show is coming up in a few weeks March 2-4 (i think) Thought i would show some pics from last year to wet your appetite for this years show. The wagon was in the show last year. It was a great experience. I even won an award!! The wagon got a 2nd in class then recieved an outstanding in class award. This is a judges pick so i thought that was cooler than the 2nd in class.Also participated in the BrushMasters Automotive artists for charity auction. I painted a replica of a billboard that used to stand at the corner of rt 45 and highway kr in union grove wisconsin. This bill board was the crustiest falling down rickitiet billboard you ever saw but i always thought it was cool. The long forgotton relic to GreatLakes Dragaway's Past. It's gone now so i thought it would be cool to replicate it in minature. It sold friday night and i heard it was very popular with the bidders. Anyways if you haven't been to the World of Wheels since it moved to The Rosemont Convention Center you are missing out. This show has been completly revamped and no longer features low rider clubs and rows of junk shitbox cars. The new show has a nostalgia about it and has been featuring some unbelievable cars. I'am a little biased towards traditional stuff so you won't see any pics of the Ridler Type cars or modern type Street rods or street machines. There is a theme for each years show. last years was Surf City. This year is Hot Rods And Rock & Roll. Hope to see to see you at the show this year.
